Mogwai

Mogwai is a highly acclaimed instrumental rock band formed in Glasgow in 1995. The band's name was taken from the movie creature, though founding member Stuart Braithwaite has stated it had "no significant meaning".

They are pioneers of the post-rock genre, known for lengthy, atmospheric compositions that often feature extreme dynamic shifts between quiet melodies and massive walls of distorted sound.
