Gorgon Vomit stand as London’s premium death metal terror merchants, known for cut-throat blastbeats, knuckle-dragging swagger, and shattering low end. Drawing from Jamaican culture and an inner-city London perspective, their hardened reputation is built on unyielding sonic punishment.
Now refined to a trio, leader Black Mane returns with Ballistik and Pipebomb for the concise three-track EP KILL PAGANS, shifting their sound into a streamlined, maximum-damage approach.
With “Nuke Norway” and the title track invoking a Year Zero for the metal scene, the band throws a mirror to docile order-followers posing as liberated ‘free-thinkers’: “Pantomime in leather boots, told what is and isn’t trve”. This critique of faux individuality and exclusionary attitudes stays rooted in referencing Black UK bass music, with the wordplay on Pagans.
Self-produced by frontman Cam Shuck (Black Mane) at their North London rehearsal space, the record preserves an unfiltered, feral energy throughout. Expect these tracks alongside staples from “Skeng Down Jah” and “Babylon Detonator” across their busy international 2026 schedule, including a launch show at Revolver, Oslo in April.
