As the morning dew sits so graciously over the fields of the east anglian landscape you may hear the subtle sounds of the breeze brush past your ears in a beautifully melancholic way. Black Magick Caravan act as this breeze, they are the morning sun seeping through the mist and the silver moon that shines in the night sky. What was once one mind is now a collective consciousness of free flowing ideas and expression of self.
With a back bone of classic British folk such as Fairport Convention and Pentangle they mix the idea of folk music with a modern sense of drone and feedback that hint towards a sound similar to Spacemen 3, Brain Jonestown Massacre and The Telescopes.
Hints of mysticism and the occult, all of which they’re home town of Norwich is so immersed in, they bring the weird and wonderful nature of the spirit world alive with songs expressing the shadow self and the rise of the human condition on emotion and growth.
With music boiling in the tape wound cauldron, it leaves the mind to wonder who and what they are.
