Norwich Arts Centre, 13 Nov 2026
A unique mash-up of alt-rock, trash-hop and anthemic indie
Damp Matches explode back onto the Arts Centre stage to celebrate the release of a brand new mystery single! After releasing their long-awaited debut album in November ‘25, they are returning to the beloved venue almost exactly a year later to have it large once more, to mark the release of a new never-before heard song represents quite a departure from their tried-and-tested sound and production style. Join us for an evening of raucous merriment with a sprinkling of new music! Everyone welcome!
Joining Damp Matches on the night will be Dog At The Opera, the experimental passion project of several already-established local musicians that has done nothing but grow and grow since it got out how rather good they were. A seamless blend of nostalgic 90’s indie and atmospheric shoegaze with a smattering of modern heaviness forms the cut of their jib. Worth the ticket price alone!
And opening the night are effervescent pop-punk upstarts Lifejacket, who will be bringing their trademark candid lyricism and energising garage rock to the Arts Centre for the first time.
