Magic, mayhem and melody
Magic, mayhem and melody, the three word review of ROULETTE, the all new indie-rock 4 piece hailing from Essex, who are on a mission to revive rock to its former glory. Katie Todd fronts the band, a mean and stormy redhead from Basildon who sits somewhere between Stevie Nicks and Adele, launching soaring vocals down the mic, to the tunes of the band’s main writer: Christian Lilley, the charismatic and Oasis loving guitarist who brings a whirlwind of chaos and energy to the stage. The beat is driven by a young drumming protege Vincent Lilley (dubbed 'Vingo Starr') who achieved grade 7 at the ripe age of 14, and holding down bass is Evan Harmes, master of several instruments.
Their set takes no prisoners, breaking down the front door with some electric punk tunes, before soaring through the gleaming peaks of britpop glory; they then allow the audience to catch their breath with some heart-stopping ballads before finishing with their monumental soul and indie inspired debut single ‘Intercept’ - out now.
