Two powerhouses of the British folk scene team up for a one-off night of uplifting folk music

SAM KELLY & THE LOST BOYS and HONEY & THE BEAR are multi-award winning pioneers in their distinct brands of unique modern folk music. Rooted in the landscapes and stories of East Anglia and the wider British Isles, the two bands share multiple members in common, who blend traditional folk instruments and sounds with modern songwriting and musicianship. The two bands have teamed up to create a singular live show experience, featuring some of the best musicians, songwriters and storytellers the UK folk scene has to offer.

Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys

One of the most exciting bands to have entered the UK folk scene in the past twenty years, Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys has gained a reputation as one of the best live acts in the UK and they have packed out festival tents and venues the world over. The Lost Boys have become known for their eclectic and innovative reworking of traditional songs and tunes from England, Scotland, Ireland and the USA, as well as stunning original music and the occasional surprise classic rock cover, all tied together by Sam’s stunning and unique singing voice.

Honey & The Bear

Honey & The Bear are UK Folk and Roots multi-instrumentalists Lucy and Jon Hart. Formed in 2014, the duo have gone from strength to strength, releasing three critically acclaimed albums and gathering an enthusiatic following of loyal fans. Recently shortlisted for the FATEA Band/Duo of the Year (2023), their live performances are full of variation, from emotive and dramatic full-bodied ballads, to rip-roaring tales of adventure on the seas.

Weaving stories into song, with a strong focus on their Suffolk roots, community and family, they are able to bring a tear to your eye in one moment, and in the next, have you up on your feet. With immense talents, storytelling and artistic flair, this is one band you won’t want to miss!
